Welcome to Casa Mimosa. This deluxe resort home is located on the beautiful island of Isla Mujeres…just a 15 minute ferry ride from Cancun. Isla Mujeres and Casa Mimosa offer you the complete Mexican vacation destination. Casa Mimosa is one of the largest homes on the island, situated on its own white sandy beach, overlooking the crystal clear water of the Caribbean and Mujeres Bay, with a spectacular view of Cancun in the distance. This home is completely turn-key and is loaded with all the amenities you need. It is visited frequently by its owners, so you get a comfortable, much lived in feeling. This 6,000 square foot home consists of 4 floors with 5 bedrooms, each with its own beautifully tiled bathroom. There are 2 living rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, full laundry, 3 wet bars, dining room, and a roof top palapa. All bedrooms have a terrace overlooking the pool and ocean, air conditioning, ceiling fans, a safe for your personal belongings, and a hammock for your afternoon siesta. There are also single and queen aero-beds provided for additional guests, if needed.
INSIDE
The first floor has a large family room with TV, VCR, DVD player, stereo with outdoor speakers and a wet bar with mini fridge. The two bedrooms on this floor open onto a private terrace at pool level. Each room has a queen bed, and custom tiled bathroom.
The second floor has a fully equipped kitchen with all appliances, and large living room with satellite TV, VCR, DVD and wet bar with mini fridge. A full laundry room and ˝ bath are conveniently located on this floor. From the kitchen and living room, sliding glass doors open onto a terrace with a large hand-crafted dining table and chairs and magnificent views of the pool, beach, and Cancun skyline. A bedroom is also located on this floor and has a queen bed, fully tiled bathroom, and terrace overlooking the pool.
On the third floor is the master bedroom, with king bed, mini fridge, large tiled bathroom with double sinks and double shower. There is another bedroom with a queen bed and bathroom with a large tiled tub and shower. And of course the views from this floor are spectacular. Don’t stop here! Continue on up to the fourth floor, and enjoy the huge roof top palapa and wet bar with a spectacular panoramic view of the island and skyline of Cancun.
OUTSIDE
Outside, the home is beautifully landscaped with a walkway leading you to the beach and pool side palapa. This entertainment area is the most popular place at Casa Mimosa with a stainless steel grill, wet bar, full refrigerator, freezer, television, tables and chairs for dining and relaxing. And of course, don’t forget the blenders!
A natural rock fountain spills water into the crystal clear negative edge swimming pool that overlooks the most beautiful white sandy beach on the island. The multi-level pool cascades over the edge into another small pool on the beach below. A comforting Jacuzzi is adjacent to the pool. On the beach, there is a shower to rinse off the salt-water, and another bathroom.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Gaspar and Fatima, our bi-lingual caretakers, live in a separate Casita on the property and can provide you with information or make arrangements for snorkeling, fishing, sight-seeing or whatever else you may need. Special arrangements may also be made prior to your arrival if you would prefer daily cooking and/or cleaning be provided. In addition, arrangements can be made to have such services as masseuse, and manicure/pedicure provided right there at Casa Mimosa!
Casa Mimosa is equipped with all the amenities you will need for a comfortable, worry-free vacation. Simply unpack your bathing suit, stock the fridge with your favorite beverages and head out to the pool or beach! After all, they are only a step away!
